We finally have a date/venue secured for Eric Tiedemann's memorial service. Details are below:

Cellspace is a nice venue for this, I think. There will be a dancing area and an area for quiet reflection. Children are welcome, as this is a non-drinking event consistent with the sort Eric enjoyed most. I hope most of you who knew Eric can be there.

There's no way I can make it to this, but I'm hoping to see some photos and hear a report of how it went. I'm a friend of Eric's from vrave days. We last chatted over IM about a year ago, when Eric contacted me out of the blue. Although we weren't close, we did have a mutual affinity and I always enjoyed talking with him. I'm still shocked and feeling unsettled and a sense of loss. - mjb
